Assault on Baffa TC Officer condemned

MANSEHRA, Dec 4: In order to condemn the recent shameful incident of a Baffa Union Nazim insulting and beating up the chief officer of Baffa Town Committee, an emergency meeting of the union members of the Provincial Unified Group of Functionaries (PUGF) and non-PUGF, was held in the TM office here on Tuesday.

The meeting was presided over by its president, Muhammad Riaz. The speakers including Sajjad Hussain Jagra, Muhammad Jawed while condemning the incident said that the new system had failed to protect and safeguard the government officials and the common people.

The Nazim of Baffa union council, Aftab Khan, beat up and insulted the chief officer, Abdul Rasheed, for allowing water connection to an applicant without his permission.
