KARACHI, April 7: The All Pakistan badminton tournament will be held at KPT Sports Complex Hall from March 22 to 28, Sindh Badminton Association (SBA) announced on Monday.

Member of tournament committee and former Pakistan star Iftikhar Hussain said that individual and team championship will be conducted in the week-long championship.

Reigning National singles men and women champion Wajid Ali and Asma Butt have confirmed their participation for the championship.

Prominent badminton teams in men and women will be also taking part in the event. They included Wapda, PTCL, New Khan, KPT, NBP, Army, ABL, four provinces like Punjab, Sindh, NWFP, Balochistan and several divisional teams will taking part in the championship.

Besides men and ladies singles and team events in both events, men’s doubles, ladies doubles, mixed doubles and veterans singles will be held in the competition.
