KARACHI, Dec. 4: The Mohajir Qaumi Movement on Tuesday condemned the alleged operation against its workers.

The central executive committee of the MQM in a statement said: “We have punished by successive governments for our pro- Pakistan struggle.The anti-Pakistan elements are moving freely but our workers are being arrested for no reason”.

The statment said the alleged operation had been intensified after October 7 because of the party’s stand in support of Afghan Muslims.

The committee demanded the president. the chief justice and human rights organisations to take notice of the “excesses against MQM workers”.—PPI
