KARACHI, March 31: Naib City Nazim Tariq Hasan on Monday laid the foundation of a maternity home, a library and a union office in Manzoor Colony.

Speaking at a foundation-stone laying ceremony, he promised to resolve the water supply problem in Rehman Colony and Hill Town.

He informed that after the establishment of city government, 17 roads in Manzoor Colony have been built, and now carpeting of Mohallah streets would begin.

He said that a bridge on the expressway would be proposed in the next budget for the convenience of residents of Manzoor Colony. He said if land is made available, the city government would get a complete hospital constructed in Manzoor Colony with the cooperation of private sector and NGOs.—PPI
