LONDON, March 31: Two British soldiers have been sent home from Iraq for refusing to fight and could now face a court martial, a spokesman for their lawyer said on Monday.
The spokesman said the two soldiers had told their commanding officers they did not want to fight in a war “involving the death of innocent civilians.”
The defence ministry in London would not confirm the spokesman’s comments.—AFP
