MULTAN, March 31: The following are Monday’s upcountry commodity market rates in rupees:

FOODGRAINS (per 100 kg): Wheat 850 to 862; Maize 800 to 812; Jowar 1,150 to 1,375; Bajra 812 to 1,000; Barley 725 to 750.Rice superior 2,100; to 2,850 Rice inferior 800 to 825;

SWEETS: Sugar White 1,840 to 1,850; Shakkar 1,600 to 2,000; Gur 1,200 to 1,500.

PULSES (per 100 kg): Masoor whole 2,600 to 2,650; Masoor dal 2,550 to 3,000; Grams Black 1,600 to 1,850; Grams white 2,000 to 2,600; Gram dal 1,900 to 2,150; Mash whole 1,750 to 1,800; Mash washed 2,200 to 3,000; Unwashed 1,950 to 2,000; Moong whole 1,775 to 1,850; Moong washed 2,100 to 2,350; Unwashed 2,050 to 2,100.
