DADU, March 29: Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz chairman Bashir Khan Qureshi has deplored the government’s apathy towards providing relief to people of drought-affected areas.

Speaking at a press conference at the press club here on Saturday, he said Kutchho, Kohistan, Thar and hilly areas of the province had been facing drought-like condition for years but no measures had been taken to provide assistance to affected people.

The JSQM chief said people of remote areas were deprived of facilities like roads, water supply, drainage, hospitals and schools.
