Man killed in clash

SUKKUR, March 29: One person was killed and three were injured in an exchange of fire between Sanjrani and Malik tribesmen on the border of Punjab and Sindh on Saturday.

The man killed was identified as Majeed Nawaz Sanjrani. The names of the injured could not be ascertained.

The police said the reason behind the incident was a land dispute.

ACCIDENT: One person was killed and another was injured in a road accident on the Indus Highway near Kashmore on Saturday.

Sikandar Ali Malik was on the way to his home when his motorcycle collided head-on with a donkey cart. Malik died on the spot and his friend, Karam Khan, was injured.
