RAWALPINDI, March 29: The high commissioner in Kenya, Hamid Kadwai, has said there is an urgent need for a strong economy to strengthen Pakistan.

He said this during his visit to the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI).

Mr Kadwai stressed the need for increasing exports and manufacturing of local products. He was accompanied by the commercial counsellor of Pakistan to Kenya Safdar Suhail. The senior vice-president of the RCCI, Dr Hasan Sarosh Akram, welcomed the distinguished guests.
