KARACHI, March 29: A member of the national assembly, Syed Safwanullah, and others have been elected unopposed as office-bearers of the Unikarians International, a Karachi University alumni association.

According to a press release of the association, there would be no election for different posts on March. The unopposed elected office-bearers are as follows:

President, Syed Safwanullah; vice-presidents, Prof M Shahabuddin, Prof Muhammad Rais Alvi, Muhammad Iqbal Khan and Dr Yezdana Mirza Rizki; general secretary, Prof Kafeel Ahmad; joint secretaries, Prof Ishtiaq Husain, Prof Arshad Jamal, Dr Tanveer Anjum and Prof Nafisa Qidwai; finance secretary, Shaukat Nisar and publicity secretary, Dr Rasheed Vayani.
