KARACHI: MBBS exams from 31st

KARACHI, March 27: The Final Professional MBBS Annual Examination 2003 will commence from March 31.

This was announced by the Controller of Examinations of Karachi University on Thursday.

The candidates have been asked to collect their admit cards and programme from their respective colleges during the office hours.

The examination department of KU has also announced that the date for submission of registration forms of external candidates of M.A., double M.A. and improvement of division has been extended up to March 31 with a late fee of Rs300.

L.LM results: Maqbool Ahmed of the S.M. Government Law College obtained first position in the L.LM (Final) Annual Examination 2002.

The examinations department of Karachi University notified the result on Thursday.

Mr Maqbool secured 469 marks out of a total of 800 marks Ali Sian Dino of the Federal Government Urdu Law College with 439 marks came second.

Amanullah Shah of the S.M. Government Law College with 435 marks stood third.

According to statistics, 164 candidates appeared in the examination; 54 were declared successful with a pass percentage of 32.93 per cent.

A Karachi University announcement said that the marks certificates were being issued. The candidates have been asked to collect the them from their respective colleges.—PPI/APP
