Javed named skipper

KARACHI, March 26: Javed Iqbal has been named to lead an 18-member National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) team in the National Junior Under-19 Hockey Championship.

According to a press release, Imran Ali Warsi will his deputy.

Other member of the team are: Bilal Ahmed, Imtiaz Ahmed, Sameer Saleem, Sultan Ashraf, Asim Khan, Ovais Khan, Adnan Zakir, Abdul Imran, Naeem Akber, Aamir Ishrat, Haroon Hanif, Wasif Khan, Kashif-ul-Islam, Abid Hussain, Khalid Hussain.

Ehtesham Ali Warsi and Arshad Hussain will be the manager and coach of the team respectively.—APP
