Flight safety

ISLAMABAD, March 26: The annual flight safety review of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for the year-2002 was held at Air Headquarters, Chaklala, on Wednesday.

Air Chief Marshal Kaleem Saadat, Chief of the Air Staff, presided over the session.

In the safety review, the inquiry reports of the major and minor accidents for the year 2002 were discussed threadbare and decisions taken in the light of recommendations of the investigation boards. An analysis of the Flight Safety Programme of the PAF was given by the assistant chief of the air staff (flight safety) Air Commodore Safdar, Director Flight Safety Group Captain Mumtaz and Director Human Factor Group Captain Mujahid.—APP
