Published December 6, 2009

HYDERABAD, Dec 5 President, Pakistan Muslim League-N, Sindh chapter, Syed Ghous Ali Shah, has said that the government should be let to complete its tenure, adding that the PML-N will not allow undemocratic forces to derail democratic system.

Talking to journalists here at the residence of PML-N leader Nawab Arshad Talpur, Mr Shah said that despite differences between the PML-N and PPP on several issues, the latter would not allow any undemocratic action against the government.

Answering a question about the National Reconciliation Ordinance, he said that the issue was subjudice and now it was up to the government or the court to initiate action.

Answering another question, he said that the PML-N had no reservation about the repeal of the 17th constitutional amendment and wanted to purge the constitution of undemocratic laws.—APP
