He said in a statement issued here on Tuesday that the ethnic party , which he said is being supported by America, had no country (to call its own) and argued that people of many nationalities were living in America but they had never demanded creation of new provinces.

He said that Sindhi nation had 5,000 years old history and it had fought for its freedom against scores of outsiders but never surrendered to them.

DEMO Activists of Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz held a demonstration outside the press club on Tuesday in protest against arrest of their leader, Mir Mushtaq Soomro and registration of cases against him.

JSMM leaders Sagar Sindhi, Syed Mehran Shah and Aijaz Sindhi condemned arrest of their leader and warned that if he was not released and cases lodged against him were not withdrawn the party would enlarge its protest.

WASA The Water and Sanitation Agency said on Tuesday that water supply to city, Qasimabad and Latifabad talukas was seriously affected because of increase in duration of loadshedding from four to six hours.

The agency said in a statement that the loadshedding had seriously affected both the feeders, making it difficult to make alternate arrangements for water supply.

With two hours loadshedding in the morning and two hours in the evening the agency could use alternate feeder but increase in duration of outage had now made it difficult because it took at least two hours for water to reach consumers, the statement said.
