KARACHI, March 22: The Pakistan Montessori Association held a ground-breaking ceremony of its educational complex, named after Late Ms Gool Minwalla, on Saturday.

The campus planned in Clifton area, among ather facilities, would have a montessori school, lecture hall-cum-auditorium and accommodations for teachers.

One of the office-bearers in her speech said that plan pertaining to the complex construction had been submitted to the concerned authorities and despite passage of considerable time the approval from the building control authority was still awaited.

Pointing out that the complex would be raised through donations, the office-bearers apprehended that by the time the building authorities granted approval for undertaking construction, the cost of construction would go beyond the original estimates, while attempts by “land mafia” to grab the plot could not be ruled out.
