KARACHI: BDS exam schedule

KARACHI, March 20: The University of Karachi has announced the schedule of different BDS examinations for students of its affiliated dental colleges.

According to a KU notification, the first professional annual examinations would commence on April 5, while supplementary examinations would be held from July 4. The second and third professional annual and supplementary examinations would be held from April 15 and July 14, respectively, while the fourth professional annual and supplementary examinations would commence on May 24 and August 20, respectively.

Last dates for submission of first, second, third and fourth professional annual examinations forms and fees have been fixed as March 20, 25, 31 and April 5, respectively.

BSc practicals: The University of Karachi has announced the schedule of BSc (pass) Ist and IInd year Chemistry and Statistics (new course) practical for the leftover candidates.

According to a KU notification, general Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry exams will be held on March 27, 29, 28 and 31, respectively. All examinations will be held from 9am to 1pm at the Department of Chemistry.

The practical of Statistics will be held at the DJ Science College from 9.30am to 12.30pm. Practical-I would be held on March 26, while Practical II, III and IV would be held on March 27, 29 and 31.

L.LB result: The examination department of University of Karachi on Thursday announced the result of L.LB final year supplementary examination 2002, adds PPI.

A total of 172 students registered themselves, out whom 151 appeared and 118 were declared to have passed.

Old students: The academic council has allowed all old students of Karachi University to appear in semester examination as a last chance.

The students were earlier declared ineligible for various programmes due to expiry of their enrolment. These old students are advised to contact semester examination section through the chairperson of their respective departments.—PPI
