DADU: Nazims’ protest

DADU, March 18: A group of Nazims, Naib Nazims and councillors staged a protest demonstration outside the press club here on Tuesday against the Taluka Municipal Administration.

Talking to newsmen, the protesters said drains of the town were overflowing and the drainage system had collapsed due to the apathy of the municipal administration.

SEMINAR: The Dadu Press Club, in collaboration with the Village Shadabad Welfare Organization, Johi, will organize a seminar on “Starvation in Kutcho” at the district council hall on March 27 and 28.

DIPLOMAT: The second secretary of the Sudan Embassy, Usama Hassan Salman, on Tuesday visited the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Jamshoro.

Mr Salman appreciated academic and administrative facilities provided to students at the university.

He also attended a briefing about the university.
