PESHAWAR, March 15: The German government will continue to support development projects for the marginalized sections of society, said German ambassador to Pakistan Dr Christopher Brummer the other day.
He said his government was aware of the religious and cultural values of the people of the NWFP and would not launch any project in contravention with the teachings of their religion.
Dr Brummer visited “Mera Ghar”, a shelter home for destitute women at Siddique Colony. The project is funded by the German government and run in collaboration with the social welfare department and Aurat Foundation.
