Robbers plunder cash, gold

SIALKOT, March 13: Dacoits looted cash, gold ornaments, a car and valuables in different incidents here during the last 24 hours.

In Shatabgarh, Uggoki, some dacoits stormed into the office of an export firm, looted Rs500,000 in cash, valuables, a licensed pistol and a gun and fled on the firm’s car.

In Sadra Badra, a gang of 20 dacoits entered the houses of Kashif, Azam and Shaukat and fled after looting cash, gold ornaments and valuables worth Rs500,000.

Two dacoits snatched Rs12,000 in cash and a mobile phone from a councillor, Gulzar Ahmad, in Islampura, Daska city.

Four armed men took away cash, jewellery and valuables worth Rs150,000 from the house of Nadeem in Moman Kalan, Uggoki.

KILLED: Two persons were killed and four injured in accidents on main Sialkot-Daska Road near Motra, on Thursday.

In Bheelo Mahar, a bus crushed Sultan and Mahajan Bibi at a bus stop. Sultan died on the spot while Mahajan was hurt.

Asif was killed and his three friends injured when a truck hit them near Rawaan Di Khuee.
