JACOBABAD, March 13: On the orders of the DPO, the Jacobabad police on Thursday arrested the SHO, Guddu, Ghulam Shabbir Golato, for concealing evidence and failing to arrest five accused of a Karo-kari double murder case.

The killing of Mithal Dashti and Gohar, wife of Ghulam Mohammad Dashti, had occurred on the pretext of Karo-kari on Feb 25.

The SHO arrested only one accused Pehalwan Dashti.

Later, a protest demonstration was held outside the office of the DPO, Jacobabad.

It led to an investigation against the SHO for concealing evidence of the case and failing to arrest the accused namely Ghulam Muhammad, Yar Ali, Maindhro and Katto.

The police officer was found guilty in the investigation and resultantly senior police authorities had ordered the arrest of the SHO.
