MLA takes oath

MUZAFFARABAD, March 10: The member-elect of the AJK Legislative Assembly, Deewan Ali Chughtai, took oath of his office on Monday, which was administered to him by Speaker Sardar Siab Khalid at his chamber.

Mr Chughtai, of Muslim Conference, returned victorious from LA-28, Muzaffarabad VI, in by-election on March 3 defeating Rafaqat Hussain Awan, of People’s Party, by more than 1400 votes. The by-poll became due following the death of Munir Awan early this year.
