Published March 11, 2003

KARACHI, March 10: The final year MBBS students at Sindh and Dow medical colleges staged a demonstration outside the Karachi Press Club on Monday to press the authorities for an extension in the commencement date of 4th professional examinations, scheduled to be held from March 31.

The students were of the view that they had not been given enough time for completion of the prescribed courses and preparation for the exams.

They urged the governor of Sindh, chief minister and the University of Karachi to look into the matter and extend the date.
