KARACHI, March 10: Prominent politician and businessman Abdul Sami Khan and his wife Zakira Begum have donated Rs2,000,000 to set up a diagnostic block and modern dispensary in the OPD compound of Civil Hospital Karachi for poor and needy patients.

Talking to newsmen on Monday in Karachi, Sami Khan said the Sindh Chief Minister, Ali Mohammad Maher, will lay foundation-stone of the diagnostic block and modern dispensary at Civil Hospital on March 20.

He said the facility at present not fully available at Civil Hospital, will be ready for poor and needy patients within six to seven months. The donation covers the cost of foundation and ground floor.—PPI
