KARACHI, March 10: Nine ships carrying tallow, crude oil, containers and to load ethanol are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where five ships, Bunga Masempat, to unload and load containers, Thor Amali to offload and load general commodities, NCC Najran to load molasses and Naga and Bow Wallaby to offload crude oil and chemicals were berthed.

Six ships, Med Taichung, Bunga Masempat, Thor Amali, Action Express, Bow Wallaby and Al-Cyonida departed, while Winter, PONL Singapore, Minhe, Kota Waruna and Naga are due to sail out on Tuesday.

A total tonnage of 48,984 tons comprising 16,802 tons of export cargo and 32,092 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Ganga Nagara, with 15,888 tons of tallow, Spectrum, with gas oil, Sorena, with crude oil, Chem Princess, to load ethanol, Oriental Bright, APL Ivory, Global Paramount, Kota Indah and Hammurabi, with containers.
