Research centre in Jandiala

SHEIKHUPURA, Nov 30: Punjab Governor Lt-Gen Khalid Maqbool (retired) has announced to construct a research centre besides starting post graduate classes in Waris Shah Degree College, Jandiala Sher Khan.

The announcement to this effect was made by the governor during his visit to the town here on Friday.

He said that Waris Shah Degree College would be made one of the prestigious educational institutions of the country.

Those present on the occasion were district Nazim Chaudhry Tawakalullah Virk, DIG Javed Noor and other officers.—APP
