Millat Club in quarterfinal

LAHORE, March 7: Millat Club, VIR Club, Burt Club, Super Griffen, Friends Club and New Khan advanced to the quarterfinals of the inaugural Ameer Abdullah Khan Memorial badminton tournament after winning their respective matches here at New Khan hall.

Millat routed Albadar club 3-0, VIR lost one match before defeating Heno club 3-1, Burt scored a easy New Star 3-0, Super Griffen routed Pioneer club 3-0, Friends followed up fine 3-0 win over Ali club and New Khan made short work of Rashid 3-0.

Following is the programme of quarterfinal ties scheduled for tomorrow, Millat vs Super Griffen, New Khan vs Friends, Burt vs Shining club and VIR vs New Shalimar club.—APP
