More DSPs reinstated

LAHORE, March 6: The Punjab Service Tribunal reinstated on Thursday three more DSPs removed from service along with 26 others on charges of corruption and inefficiency.

The tribunal had earlier reinstated five DSPs who had appealed against their removal from service.

Those who were reinstated on Thursday are: Naseer Alvi, Younas Bhatti and Rai Zameerul Haq.

The tribunal dismissed the appeal of DSP Abdul Jalil and demoted Nifasat Ali to the rank of inspector.

Those who were earlier reinstated by the tribunal are: Nemat Ali Goraya, Asif Zafar Cheema, Ms Nasim Chaudhry, Tariq Hanif Joya and Javed Nisar.
