LAHORE, March 6: The Small and Medium Enterprize Development Authority will hold a one-day training workshop on Friday for trainers of different private and public sector institutions.
Officials from the Agriculture Mechanization Research Institute, National Productivity Organization, Technical Service Centre, Pakistan Institute of Quality Control, Pakistan School of Fashion, PCSIR, PITAC, Punjab Vocational Training Council, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital, University of Agriculture, Tevta, Staff Training Institute and several other institutions will participate in the workshop.
The objective of the training programme, according to Smeda, is to create awareness among existing network of training service providers about the characteristics of a good trainer, the latest training aids and effective delivery of presentations.
The workshop is part of Smeda’s objective to support the small and medium sector, mainly in the finance, technical, agriculture, management, marketing and human resource development areas.
It has organized over 190 management and technical training programmes in more than 28 cities of the country with the collaboration of some 70 TSPs.
