KARACHI, March 5: The PTCL is considering expediting the recovery of dues from different government departments and the process of monthly disconnection on the basis of non-payment.

Presiding over a meeting to review the performance and achievements of revenue targets, PTCL chairman Akhter Ahmed Bajwa called for providing better customer-care to the subscribers and expediting the dues recovery campaign.

He directed the officers to recover dues from government departments and that restoration of connections after payment should be made more efficient.

He asked the divisional engineers to speed up the process of providing new telephone connections to customers and avoid unnecessary delay in the process.

General managers, directors and other officers of the PTCL attended the meeting.
