LAHORE, March 2: A man was killed while his father and two brothers were injured over a land dispute in Raiwind City on Sunday.

The police said Barkat got a piece of agricuture land on lease from Akbar. Following a monetary dispute, Akbar tried to get his land vacated, but the other party refused to do so.

Akbar opened fire on Barkat and his sons, Safdar, Imran and Asghar and escaped. Safdar, 22, died in a nearby hospital, while the condition of the others was stated to be critical.

ACCIDENT: A boy was killed in a road accident on Multan Road in Chuhng on Sunday.

Five-year-old Afaq along with his mother was waiting for a van alongside the road when a speeding car (OKA-20) crushed him to death.

A case has been registered against the absconding car driver.
