TIMERGARA, March 1: As many as 88 veterinary officers and 124 assistants would be recruited shortly to bring improvement in the performance of the veterinary institutions.

Provincial minister for agriculture Qari Mehmood said this    during his brief visit to the Civil Veterinary Institute Timergara in Dir Lower. The executive district officer agriculture, Dir Lower, Saeed Ahmad Khan, and assistant director livestock Dr Mohammad Shoaib Khan, were also present on the occasion.

The minister said such recruitments would also curtail the growing problem of unemployment in the province.

The minister said that the MMA government was committed to its responsibilities and would take all possible measures to mitigate the sufferings of the common people. “We have been empowered for a change,” vowed Qari Mehmood.

He said there is no perception of the rich or poor in the MMA government.

“We will show the world by our acts and deeds that we are true to our words,” he remarked.

He asked the officials to perform their duties with honesty and devotion to resolve the public problems.
