KARACHI: Shivratri celebrated

KARACHI, March 1: The minority Hindu community on Saturday celebrated their annual function of Maha Shivratri, that is celebrated to mark the wedding of Lord Shiva with Mata Parvati.

Special prayer meetings were organized to celebrate the festival in all the city temples with the main gathering being held at the Shiva Temple on Clifton and the Swami Narayan Temple, opposite KMC head office on M. A. Jinnah Road.—Staff Reporter
