KOHAT, Feb 26: The district council through a unanimous resolution ordered the expulsion of the Tehsil municipal officer (TMO) from the district forever due to his incapability and failure to answer the queries of the members on Tuesday.

The session was held at the District Council Hall with Haji Sardar Khan in the chair.

Dr Matiullah Shah, Nazim Urban-5 and chairman of the district education committee told the council that the assistant district education officer (female) misused medical and travelling funds by submitting bogus bills. He asked the district Nazim to constitute an inquiry for the recovery of the embezzled amount.

The expulsion of the TMO was proposed by the Nazim of Shakardarra, Rasheed Khan Khattak, when he refused to answer the questions of Nazim Urban-2, Mohammed Iqbal, about the disbursement of 25 per cent rent of the municipal committee shops.
