SADIQABAD, Feb 23: The examination centres for primary and middle standard students have been set up at a distance of some 40 to 50 kms from their respective schools.

Some students will have to cross the river Indus to reach their examination centre.

This was stated in a press release issued on Sunday by Punjab Teachers Union leaders Chaudhry Khushi Muhammad, Syed Jaafar, Sajjad Ahmed, Saeed Ahmed, Ghulam Murtaza, Abbas, Mrs Kausar and Mrs Abida Parveen.

They said the tehsil committee had created a problem for students and their parents. They said the examination centre in Rahimabad High School was around 50 kms from schools at Dera Khosa, Mumtaz Model Farms, Mureedabad, Sardarpur, Faiz Jilaniabad and Swetar Ki. — Correspondent
