Laid to rest in Lahore

LAHORE, Feb 22: Stage actor Shauki Khan, who died in an accident near Kasur, was laid to rest in the Gulshan-i-Ravi graveyard here on Saturday evening.

TV and stage actors Mastana, Anwar Rafi and Irfan Khosat were among those who attended the funeral.

Shauki Khan started his career about 30 years ago by producing several volumes of audio cassettes. After earning fame, he engaged himself with stage acting.

He was performing play Muhabatan Sachian Nay in Alhamra these days.

Shauki Khan is survived by a wife and seven children.
