RAWALPINDI, Feb 19: The Directorate of Military Lands and Cantonments (ML&Cs) has transferred Additional Executive Officer of Rawalpindi Cantonment Board Hassan Akhtar Mirza to Cantonment Board, Mardan, with immediate effect.

This is the second time that his transfer orders have been issued in less than a month.

Earlier, his transfer was withheld on the request of the RCB authorities keeping in view the heavy load of work in connection with the ongoing bifurcation process of the RCB on the one hand and the transfer of Additional Executive Officer Mr Zafar to Lahore on the other hand.

Mr Hassan served the RCB for three years. During his stay, he contributed a lot towards development and progress of the cantonment board and envisioned many new ideas for the civic body to make it a model cantonment.

He introduced a new tax formula, prepared the whole plan of bifurcation and completed all preparations for the local government system in the cantonment.
