FFC’s working lauded

ISLAMABAD, Feb 17: Federal Minister for Water and Power Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao has appreciated the working of Federal Flood Commission (FFC).

According to a press release, the minister was attending a briefing session at the commission on Monday. The minister urged the officials to chalk out new plans to reduce damages caused due to floods.

He advised the officials to enhance interaction with the public and educate the people about issues related to floods. He also assured the commission of financial support for implementation of various strategies.

Earlier, the FFC chairman, Tahir Malik, gave a detailed presentation about working of various sections of the commission.
