HYDERABAD, Feb 17: A group of contract doctors staged a demonstration outside the press club here on Sunday against delay in regularization of their services and non-payment of their two-year salary.

Talking to the protesters, leaders of the Hyderabad Contract Doctors Forum, Dr Ahmad Ali Bughio and others, deplored their services were not regularized though they working for seven years.

They appealed to members of the Sindh Assembly to move a bill in the next session of the assembly for regularization of their services.

DEMO: A group of Pakistan Islami Tehrik activists staged a demonstration outside the press club here on Sunday against demolition of boundary wall of Ghulaman-i-Sajjad Imam Bargah by the Hyderabad Cantonment Board.

Led by Lal Bukhsh Kalhoro, the protesters carried banners and placards inscribed with slogans against the cantonment board.

They demanded the boundary wall of the Imam Bargah should be reconstructed.

PHONE CONNECTIONS: The Pakistan Telecommunication Company has constituted mobile teams for providing new connections to people.

In this regard, a mobile camp was organized at Muslim Cooperative Housing Society, Qasimabad, on Saturday where 42 demand notices were issued and 22 connections were sanctioned.
