KARACHI, Feb 17: Owing to increasing traffic accidents in the city, the Karachi Nazim, Naimatullah Khan, on Monday announced the time schedule for the entry of heavy traffic (under article 144) into the city.

According to the announcement, the heavy traffic has been banned from entering the city from 7am to 10am and from 4pm to 8pm on all busy and important roads.

Expressing deep concerns over the increasing accidents due to heavy traffic, the City Nazim ordered all the relevant departments to make sure the enforcement of article 144 for heavy traffic in the city.—PPI
