QUETTA, Feb 14: Four persons, including two minors, were killed and nine injured in road accidents in Quetta and other areas of the province, on Friday.

According to police sources, one Abdul Bari was on his way home on his motorcycle with his two sons when a car coming from the opposite side hit his vehicle near General Post Office at Zarghoon Road here.

As a result, Shahzeb (7) and Shoaib (5) died on the spot and Mr Bari received serious injuries.

The police arrested car owner Farrukh Nadeem and impounded his car.

Another accident took place in Hub industrial area of Lasbela district in which one Mohammad Naseeb was killed and seven others injured as a result of head-on collision between a pick-up and a car.

According to reports from Khuzdar, one Din Mohammad died and another person injured when their car was hit by a pick-up.
