TCP sells 1,518 bales

KARACHI, Feb 10: The Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) on Monday accepted two highest bids for 1,518 bales of cotton, invited by the corporation through local sale tender.

The price evaluation committee of TCP in a meeting held on Monday accepted the highest offer given by M/s Jullundur (Pvt), Karachi for 685 bales of cotton grade-II-1-1/32” at the rate of Rs2,259 per maund.

The second highest offer given by M/s Dostons Cotton Mills (Pvt) Ltd, Karachi for 833 bales of cotton grade-III-1-1/16” at the rate of Rs2,258 per maund.
