RAWALPINDI, Feb 7: The accountability courts, Rawalpindi, on Friday adjourned hearing of references against former senator Asif Ali Zardari and former federal minister Anwar Saifullah Khan.

The judge accountability court number III adjourned the hearing of the BMW case against Asif Ali Zardari.

According to details, the court adjourned proceedings till February 18. Farooq H Naik, defence counsel for Mr Zardari, could not appear in the court, as he was engaged in electioneering for the coming Senate polls.

Mansoor Ali Khan, the judge of the accountability court number II, issued a notice to the defence counsel on completion of statements under Section 342 in the case of former petroleum minister Anwar Saifullah Khan. The court adjourned proceedings in the case till February 17.—PPI
