Cadets shock fancied KESC

KARACHI, Jan 31: Naval Cadets surprised favorites KESC 52-40 to land Ghayur Khan basketball trophy at Arambagh Floodlight Court Thursday night.

KESC which is rated as the best basketball outfit in the city put up a disappointing show.

Trio of Shabbar Khan, Jadoon Khan and Murtuza played main role in Cadets win. Cadets led 36-22 at lemon time.

In another league match Karachi Greens (KG) beat Karachi Whites (KW) 50-44.
