QUETTA: Central Secretary Information Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Senator Mushahidullah Khan has held former military ruler Pervez Musharraf responsible for the prevailing unrest in Balochistan province.

Speaking to reporters in Quetta on Monday, the senator said the former military ruler’s policies had worsened the situation in Balochistan.

Mushahidullah announced that a process of negotiations would be initiated with disgruntled Balochs if his party came into power in the coming general elections.

“We are ready to speak to our brothers on the mountains,” he responded to a question when asked about reconciliation with estranged Balochs.

He said his party was determined to uphold the banner of justice and would ensure the provision of due rights to the masses in the province.

Senator Mushahidullah demanded administrative changes in provinces before the May 11 elections. He also called for the replacement of Governor Balochistan Zulfikar Magsi, accusing him of being a ‘political person’.
