KARACHI: NED, SSUET issue merit lists

KARACHI, Nov 26: The NED University of Engineering and Technology has released some more merit lists of the candidates under different categories for admission to first year engineering classes.

The list of 24 candidates having passed their qualifying HSC (Pre Engineering) examinations from the Board of Intermediate Education, Hyderabad, started with 904 marks and closed on 834 marks.

The medical examinations of the selected candidates would be held on Dec 7, said a varsity notification.

The university also announced the list of candidates who have applied under categories 10.2.1 (b) Hyderabad, self-finance (Hyderabad), self-finance (Foreign/Overseas Pakistan). Waiting lists of candidates having passed their HSC exams from Hyderabad board for engineering programme and BCIT classes have also been announced.

Merit lists of candidates belonging to Sukkur and Larkana have also been displayed under various categories.

SSUET: The Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology on Monday released the list of 1253 candidates selected for admission to the Bachelor’s degree programme in Computer/Electronic/Biomedical/Civil Engineering and Computer Science for the academic year 2002.

The selected candidates have been asked to collect their admission letters from the university from Nov 28 to Dec 3. After the said dates letters would be mailed to the candidates at their residential addresses, said a varsity notification.
