Indians due to arrive today

ISLAMABAD, Jan 30: Indian team for the 11th Asian Junior Squash Championship was due to arrive here Friday morning officials said Thursday.

Also arriving Friday will be the Sri Lankan party that will bring to five the number of teams to have streamed in for the Feb 2-8 championship.

The Kuwaiti squad landed in Islamabad Thursday while Hong Kong, the 6th foreign team in the seven-nation tournament, were expected on Feb 1.

Qatar, who were to compete only in the individual event have pulled out of the championship that is to take place at the impressive Roshan Khan Complex.

Meanwhile top seeds Pakistan and Singapore are to play a series of Test matches to warm-up for the event, officials said.
