LAHORE, Jan 30: Thursday was yet another day marked by frequent power breakdowns due to the use of metal wire for kite-flying and the intermittent rain.
There were 500 minor trippings — power suspension for less than 20 minutes — and 17 major suspensions. The worst affected areas were Chah Miran, Bhatti Gate, The Mall, Allama Iqbal Town, Baghbanpura, Clifton Colony, Sher Shah Colony and Rang Mahal.
