Power supply cut off

SHIKARPUR, Jan 29: At least 50 villages and government colonies and offices were deprived of electricity supply due to non-payment of power bills.

According to the executive engineer, Hesco, the power of the government organizations including agriculture, health, education, and public health offices, schools and residential colonies of highway and building departments in the district was disconnected when they failed to pay their bills worth Rs50 million despite being reminded through notices.—Correspondent
