QUETTA: Workers of the Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) clashed with each other at the Quetta Press Club during distribution of party tickets for the upcoming elections in Balochistan.

PTI Balochistan President Qasim Soori was addressing a press conference when his opponents stood up on their seats. Soori's opponents inside PTI blamed him for awarding tickets to his favourites for the general elections for the national and provincial assemblies in Balochistan.

“Soori was disqualified by court, we do not accept him,” Asif Tareen, a local leader of PTI told Dawn.com.

The PTI workers also exchanged hot words with each other. However, the situation got under control following the involvement of PTI workers who averted a major clash.

Police were called to ensure peace in the aftermath of the clash.

The incident came two days after a PML-N activist, Sakina Mengal, made a failed attempt at self-immolation, also at the Quetta Press Club.

So this is the new hope for Pakistan, where members are fighting among themselves for the freaking ticket. Mr. Imran every time I get my hopes high your members gives me reason not to hopeful about the feature of Pakistan. Imran should get rid of these members immediately to show he means and stands behind every word he said..............God help us..............

Easier said than done Mr/Miss KMA. Crticising is so easy but you need to walk in IK's shoes for a mile before criticising him. He is in the process of re-building the nation from the scratch and you expact him to finish the work in a few months. A nation's character needs at least 100 years to change. At least appreciate him for initiating the re-building work rather then aiming all guns at him at even the slightest of slips. Hope you dont take offence to it
